ConMac was organized between 2nd, 3rd & 4th of March 2017 at Maniram Dewan Trade Centre, Guwahati, India. 2st edition of ConMac has drawn phenomenal attention not just from Government officers of relevant departments, also from private contractors and public sector companies. By far it is the biggest Trade Fair dedicated to the Construction Equipment sector in the North East Indian region.

The main objective of ConMac 2017 was

» To aid in India's ambitious plans to accelerate Infrastructure development for North East India
» To develop the contractor base in North East India
» To provide education and access for small contractors to understand the latest technologies
» To provide a gateway for the India Industry to Bhutan, Bangladesh, Myanmar (Burma) and Nepal in the future.


The response to the event was good, with over 20,000 Sq Mtrs of exhibition area ConMac 2017 has proved as one stop solution for the construction segment for the North Eastern States. ConMac 2017 had 120+ Exhibitors with 3401+ business visitors.

The North Eastern Council, Government of India was the Partner, NEC was the nodal agency for the economic and social development of the North Eastern Region which consists of the eight States of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura.

India Construction Manufacturers Association(ICEMA) was the Sector Partner and was supported by Builders Association Of India (BAI)

Assam was the Host state for ConMac 2017 and Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Mizoram and Nagaland being Partner States.
